An independent wholesaler at the heart of the Rungis market

SOCOFRAM has been trading since 1981 inside the Rungis market halls, in the fruit and vegetable sector at 17 Rue d’Avignon, Bât. C2. In November 2003 we opened our own warehouse at 3 Allée des Coquelicots, ZA Haut Varennes, in Boissy-Saint-Léger.

From the outset, our commercial goal has been to be one of the leading players in the food trade, and in dried fruit in particular. The company employs a team of around 33 people.

We specialise in produce from Turkey, notably figs, apricots and raisins, as well as a broad range of oriental groceries. Direct imports represent around 70% of our purchases.

In 1988 our sister company OPA Distribution was created at the MIN des Arnavaux in Marseille, with a team of 17. Between the two companies we can serve customers logistically in both the north and the south of France.

Thanks to a young and dynamic team our businesses keep moving forward. We work in partnership with our suppliers as much as with our customers, and figures that grow year after year reflect that professionalism. More than four decades on the market are a guarantee of reliability and quality.
